Is this the right place to report that I also see this problem? I see
notes that it has been reported upstream, but I don't see any link to
where I could comment.
I've been experiencing this problem regularly. I have a non-expanded
bottom panel, with desktop effects enabled, and multiple desktop
Could this be bumped up a little higher than low priority please. It
makes managing multiple terminals practically unworkable in 9.10.
Clicking through half a dozen terminals at random because I can no
longer see their names is no fun at all.
thanks :)

In Ubuntu 9.04, RhythmBox has two separate minimization behaviours. If
you click the minimize button it acts like a normal program. If you
click the icon in the notification area, it minimizes to there.

I've also seen this behaviour, but it appears to be a little more
complex than just not being able to resume. Quite a lot of the last.fm
behaviour appears buggy. Apologies if this should have been filed as a
separate bug, however I believe it is all related and has the same root
cause.

Could I request a brighter graphic or bigger change to show when
rhythmbox is playing since the current icon is hard to see clearly.
What I would suggest is to colour the big circle in the icon the same as

Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Would it be possible to have Rhythmbox automatically flag last.fm tracks
as 'ban' or 'love' based on the star rating I give them?
That would let me keep rhythmbox minimised and use tools like music-
applet to integrate rhythmbox to my gnome pan

Ok, now I'm confused. How come there are two bug tracking systems?
Shouldn't I file things here?
And is this a bug in rhythmbox? This was the site rhythmbox sent me to
when I went to Help -> Report a Problem.

Cool, thanks for the update. I'll wait for jackrabbit, or jackal, or
whatever it's going to be and hope it's in there :)

I should maybe mention that I don't get this behavior on my work
computer which I've just upgraded to Ubuntu, so I think it's safe to
close this bug.
My work computer is also running Ubuntu 8.04, this time on an ATI Radeon
HD 2600XT. The setup is essentially identical as I followed the same

I would just like to add that exactly the same happens to me, and has
been doing ever since upgrading from Ubuntu 7.04. In 7.04, my Sony
Ericsson k810i worked absolutely fine. Ever since it's never
disconnected properly.
Until now my workaround has been to use a different usb port every time

I've just found it's also possible for the "Window Selector" to give the
wrong list of items.
If I select a program on the second monitor, then click on the Window
Selector, it shows the contents of both screens. If however I then
right-click on the Window Selector, then left-click on it again, i
It's reproducible every time for me right now, simply moving windows to the
second screen makes them disappear from the window list.
I've got detailed notes on how I configured Ubuntu if they are needed.
The basic setup is that I'm running on an ATI Radeon x1950, I installed
the Ubuntu ATI drive
Aaah, didn't know I could do that (spot the recent windows convert).
Ok, if I add a new panel on the 2nd screen, and put a window list on
there it shows the programs I have on that monitor. That does appear to
be a usable workaround so I'll keep testing that and let you know if I
spot any problem
Got another comment to add to this after spotting something today. If I
swap to a different workspace, all of my windows then appear on the
window list on the primary monitor (and disappear from the new list on
the second monitor).
So items on the second monitor only disappear from the window lis
