Wow, that tip with rm -rf ~/.local/share/gvfs-metadata actually helped. After reboot "gvfs-metadata" is not really coming up anymore in top. Thank you a lot. That was extremely annoying. And as I remember... I was really filling up my disk with a lot of data. -- gvfsd-metadata causes 100% CPU
