There's an sshfs option '-oworkaround=rename' which works around this
sftp misfeature, although the resulting rename operation will no longer
be atomic as required by POSIX.

Both KDE and GNOME go into an infinite loop of starting their screenshot
apps.
X is completely unresponsive, Ctrl-BackSpace doesn't kill it, only
SysRq-k.
