I noticed in Ubuntu 24.04 that when changing virtual desktop the GNOME
windows ripple for active window does not respect the chosen accent

but after an update about couple of weeks this is not possible. Only
updating via Update Manager and the terminal is possible.

Launch Ubuntu Software click on Updates then click on Refresh on top
left. This used to work and populate packages that needed to be updated.

Got the update for the new Gnome Settings, and I am not able to add new

Got it fixed. Remove the gstreamer ugly and bad and install the
multiverse version, that will let you seek. Also install gstreamer0.10
-fluendo-plugins-mp3-parnter
After that you should be able to seek with Totem when you playing MP3
files.

click on the Advanced arrow and check mark both Encryption Required and
Ignore SLL, fill in Server (if blank with talk.google.com) and port (if
blank) with 5222, and check mark Use old SLL and click on Apply. That
