I had the same problem. As soon as the upgrade reached the configuration
of rarian-compat it stopped with an error. All further errors were
because of dependencies to scrollkeeper, which is provided by rarian-
compat.
As others I installed scrollkeeper, finished the dist-upgrade and then

is really annoying. Filesize and modied times should be the minimum of

Thanks for the info Sebastien. The opinion in the upstream bug seems to
be that this won't be fixed as it doesn't cause any problems. I added

According to Gordon Allott, this bug also causes big problems for Unitys
new HUD since HUD also uses ALT. So if HUD lands in precise it will
render totem unusable. So if this is not resolved in upstream, we

Okay. So there are two problems to this. #1 Totem incorrectly uses xtest
to send ALT every 30s even though other APIs (dbus) are available to
prevent screensaver-activation. #2 totem does this, when not in focus.
Upstream insists on using xtest as a fallback if no APIs (xscreensaver

Reading through the comments on the Opera blog this bug seems to be
caused by Flash. So I tried blocking Flash and haven't experienced any
crashes, yet. This seems to be related to a problem in libgtk2 2.24.6
and upgrading it to version 2.24.8 seems to fix the crashes. I'll try
that and report back
For nautilus this bug seems to be invalid. I couldn't find the proper
project for libgtk2, though.

Comment #40 explains and fixes the problem. The clipboard manager
integrated in gnome-settings-daemon doesn't work correctly. When an

content of those applications and crashes. Knowing this I could
