Updates 3.4.0-0ubuntu4 fixed most of my problems, thanks to developers.
Minor quibble is the scale option, mouse wheel used to scroll the bar,
not working now, but keyboard still works. Thanks for all the hard work.

The solution for me, using xfce4, was to logout and into gnome-shell.
Then I could change the setting... Using gconf-editor didn't work, the
option was checked when I looked at it in gnome's control center under
mouse. When I loged back into xfce4, all was/is good. xev reports ctl
as it should.

(Gnome Fallback) Since upgrade to 13.04- Gedit not exiting from the "x"
decoration or minimizing from the "_" decoration. Selecting "X" will
minimze the app.
Fill menu will close doc's and exit. Right click on lower taskbar> close
will quit app... But GTK window taskbar "X" w
One other note- If I select the "_" decoration on the gtk.Window, the
whole top bar on that window grey's out losing focus... and act's if it
is unresponsive. If I then select the app from the lower taskbar, then
it regains focus and starts working normally (all working correctly)...

closing application, Brasero will try to start ("Starting Brasero"),
then just go away. Have to reboot to get it going again.

Of note- I have a work-around. I noticed that after I run Brasero and
exit, the process is still running. That is why it is not starting a

Yep, this bug is definitley a Unity bug. When using the Window Switcher

New installation of Karmic (9.10)
Compiz not installed. No desktop effects are in use.
Occurs after login and when I switch or reconnect to wireless access
points. The box appears for ~20 seconds and then disappears. Yelp

When viewing a log file in the log file viewer, the display jumps to the
bottom of the log when new messages are written to the log. This is
desired behaviour if the display is at the bottom of the file already,
however

When navigating through the folder list i tried to import a pst file. The
import completed after which i was unable to expand and collapse folders in the
structure. I have deleted all the imported data and the problem still occurs

I tried 11.04 about six weeks ago and the bug still appears to be
present - but I've since reverted to 10.04.

with VLC Media player.
The video starts to play, but is very jerky & fast for 2-3 seconds with no
sound. Then I get the error message as mentioned above.

I would have thought that I must have the correct plugins if VLC Media player
can play them.
The smallest AVI file I have is about 8.5 MB, I can send that if you like.
