One further comment, just by looking at the output of 'ps auxwwm', I can
see that rhythmbox is starting a new thread every couple of minutes more
or less. This almost certainly coincides with the start of each new
song. So the bug would seem to be that these threads are not correctly
being termin
I was able to affect a positive change by opening evolution and deleting
some slow and or broken calendars.
Evolution with Exchange is broken (LP Bug: 207723), so I'm not too
surprised that it mucks up the calendar.

I agree - this is painful behavior. Every time I resume I need to click
Cancel or OK over and over, then escape out of the the Dash (odd). Also
I had turn of "Require password when waking ..." in order to avoid
multiple logins (see comment #8) and make this less painful. But that

After the latest round of package updates this is suddenly fixed for me.
I don't see anything about a fix noted here.
In fact its still not clear which package actually delivers this Ctrl+Alt+T

playlist, editing it, and adding it again to Rhythmbox seems to create a
