I removed the workspace-grid directory and now it works fine. Thanks for the
insights!
I then reinstalled workspace-grid via software center and it still works. There
are some differences between the old and the new directory so it appears to be
a newer release.

I tried the exact same version of LibreOffice
(libreoffice-6.3.3.2-snap1) on Debian Buster and Ubuntu 19.10, and found
that while reproducible on Ubuntu, it is not on Debian (see atta

Why? I use it all the time, works great having at a corner (Fitts law).
However, if its configurable then sure - the problem (as I remember) is that
the configuration dialog for this is different between compiz and non compiz.
Maybe I could hack something up, but not sure about the gui stuff - if

1) some dates aren't converted correctly when displayed, and
2) the EXIF DateTimeOriginal is modified even though f-spot should never modify
it automatically.
Now, 1 is annoying but not really that bad, whereas 2 is what corrupts

I'll try to get this accepted upstream first, but in case I won't - I'll
get back and we'll continue discussing the issue here instead. I also
think that when we're adding an option to the window list to enable
mouse wheel scrolling, we should do the same for the workspace switcher,
