Please close, an incorrect mono install was conflicting with gedit.
after removing mono 1.9 gedit worked again. Hope I have not wasted
anyone's time.

I agree, the audio quality is 100% better in hardy, certainly
acceptable. However, although the files play back on the pc, when
transferred to an iopd (ipod touch in this case) they don't play. Just
plays no noise for the length of the track

Attached are the debug files.
I first did the gdb run, and seahorse faulted as expected after entering
the pass phrase. (logs attached)
However when running under valgrind, a segment fault DID NOT occur after
entering the passphrase, and it then prompted for a server name and user
to connect t

I recently created an SVG in inkscape. As part of the SVG, I used a true
type fonts that I had downloaded and installed into my ~/.fonts folder.
Inkscape correctly picks up the font and renders the text, as does Eye
of Gnom

Ok, apologies needed, I just went to the folder to upload the svg file
and the preview is no correct.
I have recently rebooted, (I normally just hibernate the laptop) so I am
guessing that nautilus has now re-loaded the font list it know about,
including the new fonts in the ./fonts folder as it h
