I have been unable to recreate the bug recently so maybe its magically fixed.
I ran the above command but got no output.
If I experience the problem again I will post immediately.

I have had the bug again but the above command gives no output.
The bug only seems to occur if
1. Using the right click menu select sharing options
2.Share folder and allow guest.
3.save share and exit.
4.Exit nautilus
5.Open nautilus
6.Repeat step 1
the folder appears not to be shared.

I have just had this happen but with a folder not a CD. The sharing box
unchecked itself but the folder is still appearing on the network and I can't
seem to stop it.
I have tried rebooting and killing samba but it keeps coming back.

I just set up a quick share to allow another computer to get some files.
When I got the files I wanted on my other computer I went to stop the share I
had just set up but the sharing option is off even though I can see and access
it on the net

Tried it in Maverick and it seems to be fine. Must have been fixed.
