installing gnome-desktop-data 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu3 does not change the behavior of

I also get cdrom0 instead of showing dvd's name
I deleted /media/cdrom and symlinks + removed cdrom stuff from
/etc/fstab and now I see dvdrecorder in media and dvdrecord icon in
desktop whenever I insert data cd or data dvd into dvd dual drive
what I would like to see is actually name of the dvd
