Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
I was trying to disconnect -- via a right-click -- from the Ubuntu

It took me a few tries to get it to crash running with valgrind, but
once I found a way to reproduce the issue -- hit ctrl+shift+W like a
madman as xchat-gnome is opening -- I ran it three times to give you
three separate valgrind reports. They're attached.
Please let me know if there's anything
I'd be happy to. Is xchat-gnome-dbgsym a package that needs to be
installed, too? Because it's not showing up for me for an "apt-get
install." Sorry for my confusion -- this is the first time I've done
this level of debug work.

Eugenia, you are bringing a lot of light into this issue for me by your
last comment, thanks. Could you point to a link regarding that "Fluendo
cannot do it, it must be community-made" thing? That's the first time I
hear it and I could not find traces of it on the Net.

is the "right" way and that we should keep it even if that means crappy
DVD support at the moment (for which you can install gxine alongside
totem).

I'm not sure I understand the status of that thing, why isn't it

I must add some pressure here. Very few are the third party icon themes
which "inherit" Human or Tangerine, but A LOT of icon themes inherit
Tango and gnome.
Please please please, don't limit this to Human & Tangerine. These
themes are the default but they are not the most widely used. Covering

Ah, shoot. Unfortunately, I had to reinstall my system, due to work
concerns. Sorry for the lack of information. The bug seems not to
exist when updating from a clean Feisty install.

Syslog tells me this (I'm capturing in gutsy using dvgrab), which makes
me wonder if the thing is really fixed. From what I understand, it tells
me that the dv1394 device is not to be used in the near future, making
the whole thing break again? Does this bug need to be reopened?
