hi sebastien, i found a forum talking about renaming a lib folder, and that
solved the issue on both my ubuntu desktop and my eee-pc.

I forgot, I think it was something to do with /usr/share ?? Yes I believe
it was /usr/share/lib I may confirm later on this evening if you want,
however I followed a thread on launchpad which I found after quite some
time.

Hi Sebastien, yes it could be local directoryhowever it happened after I
updated a package, which unfortunately I did not manage to identify which. I
am not sure whether there is some sort of audit on the installed packages.

I wish I could explain better, but I really do not know what
happened...last Sunday I did an update but I do not know how to get a
