I see a status of fix-released, I don't show that this has made it into
a build yet, do we know why?

I noticed this new version hasn't made it into debian or ubuntu yet,
will it be there before release? If so, do we know when it will be
released into main?

I know, my questions is, will the new upstream version make it into Gutsy
final or will it be broken still when Gutsy ships?

Same crash and respawn problem here. The only way to fix this is to
shut down evolution, which really stinks.

I worked around this issue by doing a chmod 644 on /usr/lib
/notification-daemon/notification-daemon
It's ugly but everything else works now, including Pidgin and Evolution.
