Thank you for responding to my report. There were no logs in /var/crash
apropos the Totem player bug. I thought that I had sent along relevant
information when I reported the bug because some files had been
automatically attached. I want to help clear up problems that interfere
with Ubuntu p

This problem of Totem crashing occurs with .wmv files and with .ogv and
.mov files. I can have Totem launched already and on my desktop or click
on the movie icon without Totem launched. Either way Totem immediately
