When I try to open gedit, on root or normal user, its take 100% of
processors load between 2 or 3 seconds. After it it opens normal

This bug affects me too!
But nothing returns when you logoff, just the applications that are added on
the sessions. The button "Remember Currently Running Application" does nothing,
and the check box "automatically remember running applications(...)" don't
remeber nothing too.

I've tested what Andrew suggested but with less modifications: I only
downgraded the gnome-session, the gnome-panel is intact. Now the
gnome-session remeber what applications you have marked to save and where
desktop they were. I did this by removing the gnome-session and installing
the version tha

Down..." or "Log Out user..." doesn't work! Hahaha
