The bug is still there in Ubuntu 9.10, with Evince 2.24.1. From a
user's point of view this is a regression.
After Evince is closed and reopened, some printing options are remembered when
they should not. Specifically, these are remembered:
- print whole document / current page
- number of pages
I wrote above "Ubuntu 9.10" where I meant "Ubuntu 8.10", sorry for the
confusion.

I have a directory full of images on my desktop. I right click on it,
because I use to open it with Gthumb. However, after upgrading to Ubuntu

I saw that the original gesture definition of gdm do not include a
gesture to start gok in direct selection mode. (It only contains
gestures to start gok in dwelling and in automatic scanning mode.) So I

I am running gdm 2.20.8-0ubuntu3 on the Ubuntu 8.10 development version.
When I enable Assistive Technology by using gdmsetup (I don't know whether
there is another way to enable it), the gconf key
/desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility remains set to FALSE instead of

properly install it and it does not get started when I boot the
development version of Ubuntu karmic.

p the screensaver just in time when it still is slow but not
crashed, the screensaver disappears but the computer continues to work slowly.
One time i found gnome-screensaver in gnome-system-monitor; i killed it and the

bas, to remove the patch you have to remove the files that are in the
"script" subfolder of the patch from /etc/acpi/ and the files that are
in the "events" subfolder of the patch from /etc/acpi/events/
Then reboot your laptop and... patch is gone ;-)

I'm having the same annoying problem but I've never installed any kde packages.

Finally !
It's from some weeks i noticed this.
I was not sure.
If i try to extract .themes i get permits error.
But i extracted archive from root :-(
I tried this with others archives and in more pc, and it is the same story.
If i extract the archive from Window Manager Icewm, it works.

I don't think the bug was fixed correctly. I have an up-to-date version
of Hardy 64 bit, and I'm still getting it (or something that is very
similar to it). When trying to print the attached PDF, I get errors in
mathematic characters. Something must be wrong in the way evince
