My problem is whenever I tried to stretch a gnome-terminal window (or
any other window for that matter) across both monitors (start on the
left screen and stretch across to the right screen), the edge of the

It happens with any windows. I tried xterm, gnome-terminal, xfce-
terminal, firefox, gimp.
