Ubuntu 14.04 32bit also is affected by the bug. I use Rhythmbox 3.0.2
and about 1/3 of my music library is shown as length "unknown". When I
look into the rhytmdb.xml the titles with unknown length don't have a
-tag.
I removed the rhythmdb.xml and started rhythmbox from scratch with a
music librar
I just wrote a python skript which removes all defect entries (which have no
duration tag) from rhythmbox's database. Store the script to your home
directory, close rhythmbox and open a terminal. Run the following commands:
chmod u+x repairRhythmDb.py
./repairRhythmDb.py
mv .local/share/rhythmbox

Using the same Stick/Cable/Port with installed Dapper works fine.
My Digital Camera is recognized by Edgy as expected: No remounts.
So for me it seems to be a Software problem with Edgy, which occures
with this USB-Stick.

Using the Edgy LiveCD, I have the following problem with my USB Memory Stick:
After plugging it in, Nautilus opens and shows the contents. After 10-30s the
"not savely removed"-Window pops up, and the Stick is mounted again ... for the
next 30 seconds. Using the same Stick/
I followed the instructions in the wiki. All files include one
"remount", except the dmesg-output, it includes more than one remount.

I can also confirm this bug on Ubuntu 25.04, Shotwell 0.32.10 (native)
with thunderbird 128.9.1esr.
xdg-email does also not attach any file, when running "xdg-email --attach
FLENAME".
nautilus-sendto, however, was able to attach a file to an email.

I can just confirm this bug on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS, Shotwell 0.32.6.
xdg-email and nautilus-sendto are able to add an attachment to a
thunderbird email. Shotwell, however creates the email without an
attachment.
Does anyone know, if that is fixe din 24.10 or 25.04? I need that
functionally to be w
