Public bug reported:
I have my android phone connected by cable to the computer, I selected
the PTP transfer method in the phone. But I run shotwell and it doesn't
appear in the left column. I just reinstalled ubuntu with 18.04, until
now I have 16.04 and it works.
** Affects: shotwell (Ubuntu)
I changed the PTP for MTP,
And alert appears "Could not claim the USB device -53"
Then I unmount the device and then appears in the shotwell, is a workaround.
But not an elegant solution

Sorry, Walter. I don't understand your question. I'm using latest
ubuntu: 11.10, with gnome. Is that what you ask?
