Public bug reported:
I'm on a compaq nc4010 laptop which I use as a music player. I don't know what
sound hardware that is, but it's listed as "built in".
The sound quality was fine using 9.10 Netbook Remix.
I installed the 10.04 beta over the top of the 9.10 setup -- it wasn't a
clean install.

I don't understand why this is listed as a gstreamer bug, but I'm
willing to believe the "report a problem" on rythmbox knows what it's
doing.

I've patched the same Ubuntu install on the same hardware up to date and spent
the evening listening carefully (don't you hate testing?)
I can't hear the garble. I think you should resolve/close this one, and I thank
you for committing your time.
