The bugs seem similar once it has frozen. Before that, they are different.
For example, in the other bug, the visualizations show one frame and
then freeze. In this bug, the visualizations go for a whole song and
then freeze when the next song happens to be the same format. (

I installed Hardy Heron, downloaded directly from Ubuntu's mirror. My problem

In the strace there was a mention of some files with the name of Sigur
Rós in them. The file system is UTF-8, but for some reason these files
names have ISO8859-1 or Windows 1252 encoding. This usually makes ls and
other command line tools just show "?" for the non-latin characters. I

I just wanted to say "I told you so". I kicked and screamed about this
bug for a while before the official Hardy release, but no one would
listen. Now, I assure you that the comments to this bug will continue
to grow onwards for the 3 years Hardy is supported on the Desktop, which
is pretty ridic

Add Alexander Sack's PPA repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/asac/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/asac/ubuntu hardy main
Then update and install latest package. Let us know if it works for you...

dbus signals to know it's connected via PPP.
I'm not sure how to get back the contextual menu, but if you want to
revert to the previous version of NetworkManager, then these are the
steps involved:
* remove network manager
* purge apt cache
* remove the PPA lines you added to /etc/apt/s
ou mark it as invalid????

I have been running Hardy since alpha1. I still think gstreamer for
aac is broken. Now I just use faac, when I have to. But I also
converted all my music to OGG/Vorbis and audiobooks to OGG/S
I am also seeing this in the latest updates...

Sorry Ross. I encountered some other "profile-related" bugs on Feisty
and Gusty while editing profiles, and this lead me to believe that maybe
you were passing the options incorrectly or they were being corrupted on
the way to gstreamer. There are other issues in sound-juicer, like
sometimes not
