I run Ubuntu 14.04, on a Lenovo T420s.
When I restart and login to Unity, everything works fine. Once I dock
the laptop (and I also think, when I suspend and re-wake the laptop),
many keyboard shortcuts stop working: custom shortcuts, and some media
shortcuts. I noticed that

- I cannot confirm that suspend and rewake yield the same failures (even after
5 cycles of suspend+rewake, docked or not docked).

I think this is clearly a gnome-system-monitor problem: gnome-system-
monitor shows short sleeps wrong, no matter whether it's playonlinux or
something else that calls sleep. /bin/ps doesn't have this problem.
On both gnome-system-monitor 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 (Ubuntu 12.04) and gnome-
system-monitor3.8.
A workaround is to either open a terminal or Alt+F2 and issue the
command 'unity' . This fixes the shortcuts by restarting unity, but all
applications keep running, wihout login/out.

Pavlakis). The odd thing is the timing. Sometimes i get as far as
logging in. Sometimes not. Sometimes after i log in I can pull down a
menu, mabe, sometimes it hangs before then.
One thing I noticed is that audio doesn't w
OUTPUT from DMESG as it's hung. I can SSH in from another machine but
even kill -9 will NOT work on process 3273. So there's no way to
recover my machine without a hard boot. I doubt even a shutdown will
work... but I will try that next.

I had the same problem. I tried to mail two attached files from
evolution twice. Both files contained the letter "ö" i the file name.
The receiver got files named with "some sort of number".dat. Both times
i had my self and a friend in the bcc-field, and both of us got the mail
correctly.

When I drag and drop a folder from my primary internal hard drive to my
second internal hard drive that contains a folder containing files with
the same name than in the source folder, Nautilus prompts "Merge folder

I looked at the suggested patch and made it work in the source package
of Ubuntu 12.04, see attached patch. This applies cleanly on top a fresh
apt-get source gst-plugins-good0.10 . Using this patch

I would also really appreciate a fix. I also use ctrl+alt+WASD to switch
workspaces as I found this the fastest way on earlier releases.
