Interestingly, I personally can't remember having seen this in Maverick
or Lucid. Only no since Natty it bothers me.

I'm experiencing this/a similar problem since ubuntu 9.x. The part that
bothers me most is not the wrong information (even the history of g-pm-
shows the right charge level, really strange!) but that because g-p-m

On previous installation (ubuntu 8.10) at least acoustic warning at low
battery worked. I don't remember if it hibernated.

Booting on fully charged battery (without AC plugged in) resulted in the
