Public bug reported:
when I change Display's configuration to Reolution=3840x2160,
Scale=125%, the gnome shell's application grid was changed to have only
6 columns and 4 rows, it only occupy very small area of the whole
display.

After a little further investigation, this behavior was introduced by the
gnome-shell, so I'd like to close this bug as it seems not belongs to the
ubuntu team, and follows are some details:
