[Bug 569110] Re: movie player play in fast forward mode with no sound

Since I had a lot of such problems, I decided to stick to the Lucid LTS version. The problem hasn't shown since, but I can't, therefore, tell whether it occurs in newer releases, too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gst

I have about the same problem since I upgraded to Maverick, only it isn't related to the radio but happens with any audio I play. After a variable amount of time (sometimes it works a whole day, but sometimes only a few minutes) the audio starts to become scrambled, with the interlapping blocks

OK, this is just the same in totem, when playing audio files. The audio in video files seems to work normally, though. No idea, what this means now, but very probably rhythmbox isn't the source then. -- garbled audio after playing radio for 30mins https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294707 You recei

Since the update to Maverick, I get this, too. It seems related to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/294707 As with that bug, playing videos normally worked, but today suddenly no videos would play. They would, as described here, start in fast forward and then

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox For quite some time now (since the update to Karmic, I think), the Rhythmbox on my computer is behaving very weirdly. I first thought, this would be fixed soon, then used totem instead for a time, so I didn't report this earlier. It's weird no o

Ah, damn, I don't think I'll be able to. As stated above, I reinstalled the rhythmbox package and now everything seems to work normally. I've appended the flag to my starter and if the error occurs again, I'll attach the debug output here, but otherwise I fear that this will remain unresolved. --
