I was using New Wave (German: Neue Welle). Using Human Clear Looks solves the
problem: F-Spot comes up without any errors. After this the themes Dust-Sand,
Dust and Human work, too.
Summary: After starting F-Spot once using Human Clear Looks one can switch back
to New Wave (or any other theme) w

When typing - for example - cat /etc[Tabkey] this does not show possible
sub-directories right away, but creates a whitespace like cat etc/
first. I then have to press [backkey] to move the cursor to the last
slash before I can continue.
