Could this patch please be applied to the downstream nautilus? I don't
know of any other way to get it applied upstream. Perhaps this way it
could eventually work its way into upstream nautilus?

I like the screenshot. It's (almost) perfect. I think the verbiage is
slightly misleading. Instead of saying "enable scrolling", something
like "Enable scroll wheel" or "Allow mouse scroll wheel to cycle
windows" is more descriptive. Otherwise it makes it sound like the list

I feel different, yes. The window shouldn't open when waking up unless
the card wasn't in the slot prior to suspending. This may not be an
important bug, but it still should be fixed if possible.
Unfortunat
Title and description are now changed.
** Summary changed:
- Leaving an SD card in the slot when suspending creates a white nautilus
window on awake
+ Leaving an SD card in the slot when suspending creates a nautilus window on

Should this bug be reported elsewhere? It hasn't gotten any attention
under Metacity, and since it affects compiz (I see it in
compiz/intrepid), why not expand the report?

It's on the upstream bug; it has gone ignored for a while though. I
submitted it to the nautilus mailing list as well and once again
received no response at all.

So the fix is released. Great. Does this mean it will show up in

get this fix?

So does this mean that nothing will be done at all?
Besides, I can think of cases beyond Thumbs.db, where it would be nice
to have a way of hiding files. Pesky .pyc files are a good example.
Nautilus already does its own hiding of files, such as files ending with
~, so why is this a big problem?
This fix does not work for me either. I have a 8400 GS, Hardy 64,

It doesn't work on my Inspiron 1420n either. Also an 8400, Hardy 32 bit

I agree with Brett. I never got a dialog either. Steps to reproduce:
1. Fresh install of hardy in my case
2. Set up an ftp site using Places > Connect to Server
3. Upgrade to Firefox 3.0 from beta
4. Observe no dialog.
5. Open up the FTP site that was set up in step 2. It opens in Firefox
