This is more of a feature request than a bug report.
gnome-display-properties should allow to enter the refresh rate
manually.
My secondary monitor is a beamer that does not get detected (fully)

I'm still experiencing this problem on an up to date hardy.
It doesn't seem to occur when running with the --debug flag so I can't provide
useful logs.
It does however display [0x173e710] [volume_changed_cb]
rb-player-gst-xfade.c:916: unexpectedly got a volume change for stream
file:///path/fil
It's not merely gnome related. I've ran away from gnome3 and both
kubuntu and xubuntu 11.10 suffer from this bug on my dell D630. Didn't
have this problem with either DE on 11.04.
