description. I was able to work around this by having brasero create an
image file, and the burn the image file to the disk.

Rhythmbox developer says it works for him, perhaps it is a bug specific
to the gstreamer packages in the repositories and not the fault of
rhythmbox?
If i remember correctly VLC does not use gstreamer it has its own

GDM checks /var/cache/gdm/$USER/dmrc. for the default keyboard layout.
Gnome-control-center simply needs to write the change in default
keyboard to this location.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at

actually, filling an entire column should cause you to lose so this is a
rather strange bug.

I would not be the person to ask about that I just built a new source
package with the change that the upstream developer made incorporated
and uploaded it to the ppa i created. I was not involved in coming up
with the code at all :)
