I have the same problems with Ubuntu 10.04.2.
syslog show this one:

When I try to print this pdf with evince the first page take more than one hour
for been printed.
And when I use Adobe Acrobat Reader it take less than one minute.
I've try on 2 others computer same behaviors.
This is not the only pdf with this
