As far as I'm aware I haven't (is it something I could have done by
accident? - if so how can I check?). I don't need to use a proxy to
connect to the internet (using Firefox or Konqorer).

and click the link), the page doesn't load and Epiphany closes.
Upon restarting Epiphany I get the crash recovery dialogue box.

This is the output when using the gdb (the point where it starts to
crash is "Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.", but
when running with dbg it doesn't close, but just hangs)

Today Epiphany browser will not go to webpages that I type in the address box.
If I search for the webpages on the google homepage I can link to them and see
them no problem. I am not having the same problem with firefox.
