Ever since i ran the upgrades today, i can't use the gnome-terminal..it opens
the applet..but can't seem to load the bash shell as i can see nothing in the
windowit does respond to newline keystroke Believe the reason was a X

Sorry, it turned out to be a few lines in the .bashrc file... it works
fine once i removed those linesPlease change the bug status to
closed..
