Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
When closing more than one tab in a quick(ish) sequence the browser just
closes. Language used is english as downloaded standard with "add /
remove applications" in Ubuntu hardy heron 8.04 running on a wubi
installation on 10G space on vi

No files present in /var/crash
I think epiphany sees it as a normal program closure.
PROBLEM SOLVED BY:
uninstalling epiphany (gecko) in "add remove applications"
restart
install the epiphany version WITHOUT "(gecko)" behind it in "add remove
applications"
