when in ubuntu 11.10 beta I opened nautilus clicked in the main window and
typed the first letters of folder 1 name until it highlighted it, then pressed
"enter" which opened the folder, but inside folder 2 I cannot keep typing to
search for the next folder name. It seems

This is not a clean install. I upgraded from Natty.

- backspace doesn't erase character, but goes up directory tree
