Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
First the keyboard layout switching applet began acting funny, not
switching the layout and not launching keyboard settings, basically not
doing anything it should be. Then gnome-settings-daemon crashed.

Problem has been fixed along with keyboard switcher by updates within a
moth from release, can be closed now.
