Nautilus rename mode is broken. When during rename you press delete button to
delete character or selected few characters the file (or folder) you are
trying to rename is deleted instead. So far, I've been able to find deleted
items in Trash and

Maybe its not Nautilus, I just noticed - the same thing is happening when I try
rename anything on desktop without opening Nautilus.

Hello,
I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu Karmic Koala.
In my case its much more serious - just pressing delete button, without shift
deletes file when in a rename mode.
Very annoying! Maybe its not Nautilus - the same is happening on desktop,
without opening Nautilus.
Nautilus 1.2.28.1 Gnome 1.2.
because it may help somebody else.
