Hi,
Note, this problem has only come up, after I upgraded my laptop from
ubuntu "intrepid" to "jaunty".
I seem to have an intermittent problem (4 out of 5 times) where sending

Ubuntu 18.04 NVidia driver gnome desktop with 2 monitors.
My workaround for removing the frozen pointer is going to displays in
settings/devices config and select mirror screen. It is not necessary to
complete the change, just revert back to the previous configuration.

I installed Ubuntu and changed the shortcut for closing a window (It's called
"Cerrar la Ventana" in spanish) from Alt+F4 to Super+Q using
gnome-c
I don't know what I did but it doesn't happen anymore (😕)

I am running Ubuntu 11.10. My trhree 3TB external Seagate Go Flex HDs
used to work very well. They were formatted with ext4 fs (if I remember
correctly). The problem is that I can no longer mount them and access
the contents. The HDs are seen by the Disk Utility but it is not
