I'm using Mint 19.2 , I noticed if I do CTRL-z ( undo ) either in xed or
gnome-calc , this will trigger high usage in ibus-daemon, ibus-x11 and

Same problem, was not reliable on 14.04 but work with a bad integration.
Integration is better on 18.04 but very very slow, and crash when opening
folder with many files (like music or dcim folder).

I'm affected too on Ubuntu 14.04, in fact the keyboard is correctly
configured on "Azerty" (fr) on lightdm, but it switch to "Qwerty" (en)
when the desktop (Unity) starts. I have only the "Fr" as possible input

the same thing. cp don't preserve chmod and chown by default.
This fake bug can be resolved by adding a new feature that purpose to preserve
permissions, or by choosing new permissions on a Window before copy.

Still a problem in Intrepid. Removed 10* and 53* links and still the
problem is there. Most annoying is for 8pt Mono fonts in gnome-terminal,
which does in no way resemble what the preview and gedit show. Somehow
the font spacing is different in gnome-terminal than what it should be.

Following the steps I described above I always get the same result.
Evince doesn't react to they keys, but it does stop Rhythmbox/Banshee
from registering them aswell.

I just did a fresh install of Intrepid x86, as the last one was an
upgrade from Hardy x86. I thought this might have something to do with
the upgrade process, but it seems it was not the case as the problem is
still there, just as I described it above.

Just as above, brand new install of Intrepid x86. Bug is still there.
Removing the 10-* links in /etc/fonts/conf.d/ fixes the problem.

Yes, it's the same bug, but contrary to that bug's status, it isn't

This bug is still present in Intrepid with latest updates installed. I'd
mark it myself I have no clue how to do it, and rather than breaking
something I'd rather someone else do it.

For me the configuration also shows a non-existing second monitor. If i
activate this monitor i can move the mouse and windows out of my monitor
to the right side, as if there was an external monitor.
