Trying to install dapper from ubuntu-6.06-beta2-live-amd64.iso. Disk
partioner (which I think is gparted) hangs with the message "no root
file system". I'v
Originally, I ran the program from within the gui installer on the Live disk
metioned above.
However, this is probably not a gparted problem.
I re-ran the install using the ubuntu-6.06-beta2-install-i386.iso and used the
standard 'debian' installer with manual partitioning.

When I switched to Ambiance, I opened a couple terminals that acted
normally. I left them open and switched to Paper theme. The ones that
were open already continued to work correctly.

I had some problems recently with the contact mask of evolution.
A friend has phone numbers in 3 countries, 2 numbers each. Here is where
the problem occured.

security than md5 in gutsy with working screensavers. (also in hardy and
debian sid/experimental)
There has been some activity in fedora, and I think they have
implemented sha256 in glibc, but this is still not usable with the

This is implemented in the glibc crypt routines and works with the standard

I think the reason you had trouble using both of those extensions at the
same time is that they both had the same class name (ColumnExtension).
If you gave each class a different name, I bet it would work for you.

I created a document called test%ubuntu
I made a copy of that document and renamed it test%ubuntu.pdf
I exported a libra office document as a PDF to the same folder called
fish%ing.pdf
evince can see all three. I can open the P
