The special rules in /etc/fonts/conf.avail/53-monospace-lcd-filter.conf are
there because some developers were vehemently against making the change to the
new subpixel rendering.
The file is a compromise they accepted since they work mainly in terminals

I can confirm the the bug descriptions, but not the exchange plugin
depedencies.

LDAP fails. Says it can't find the server, but the server is there and spelled
correctly. Works in Windows. Problem is probably with the authentifiaction.

the previous posters.
It would help already -- and this is hopefully only a small bit of
_technical_ rather than social work -- is if the "Services" entries
