It's really annoying when you have to get into the whole google-forum-

I think what you're describing is an extension of this bug:

(that is if you also have problems with windows not being redrawn until they're
resized).
Disabling all mipmapping in ccsm should fix this.

The previous print preview was a lot better than that in Lucid Lynx.
What it used to do was that it practically made a new pdf and opened it in
another window that had all the toolbars and accessories of a normal evince
window.
That was really great. Because when I wanted to print two pages on a
