It would be strange that this happens only after upgrading to 24.04.
Also, I tried with a simple USB cable mouse without any fancy side button and
had similar problems. I will try to get some log of that as soon as
Attached is a session (I rebooted to be sure) with a very basic USB
cable mouse without any of the Logitech fancy features or buttons (an
Amazon basics to be precise).

I finally noticed that this seems to happen shortly after switching from
one workspace to another. My understanding is that it's what is
described in https://github.com/mzur/gnome-shell-wsmatrix/issues/279.
Not sure if it is worth keeping this launchpad issue (considering it as

I always get this error when accessing Ubuntu Software and I'm always
connected so it definitely looks like a bug. It's also new, it was
working well on the same computer and I started to get that when I
reinstalled Ubuntu on the same one.

I reproduce the same thing with a pretty standard Ubuntu 17.10 (but
upgraded from 17.04) in which I did not installed any extension (which
mean I only have the system Ubuntu ones: "Ubuntu AppIndicators" and

extensions at once. So it definitely seems to be in one of the Ubuntu
extensions but no idea wh
I used ubuntu-bug but no idea what issue has been created from it since
it's not indicating anything. I just got new .upload and uploaded files
added to /var/crash/.

Same bug here with Skype. Note that the first skype instance is pretty
much invisible in the notification area but if I start another one the
second works well (except the fact thatI get an error because there is
already a skype running of course). I can then kill the first one and
