running Ubuntu 15.04 gstreamer-properties cannot be started. It always
aborts with :

I am runnig Ubuntu 12.10 and it still does not seem to work. It is minor as I
prefer flac anyway, but even more annoying is that also the 'Genre' tag seems
not to be read. Genre is 'Unknown' for all wma files, which causes quite a mess
in the ordering.
Genre is properly shown in e.g Entagged

after upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10 there is no sound anymore. I did a
install over my previous installation (no formatting).

Sorry, it seems the sound is working: I guess the real problem is that I
wasn't able to here a sound, when showing a video on myvideo.de with the
adobe flash plugin installed (which still doesnt work). Sorry again for
the confusion.

the problem with no sound with adobe flash player on myvideo.de was
fixed when I installedadobe flashplayer 10 (default with karmic
installation is 9). So actually this big is none :).
