I have the same problem here. I'm wondering where nautilus stores the
deleted files. I have non of the following folders:
~/.Trash
/var/local/.Trash
/tmp/.Trash
The emty trash in the trash applet also works.

Very weird:
I did the following steps:
cd ~
mkdir .Trash
chmod 700 .Trash
and restarted gdm. And suddenly the trash worked fine, but the folder
has disapeared again. Recreating the folder results in an Trash always
marked full (in nautilus and the applet) but nothing visible (or
invisble - yes t
LinuxJuggalo can you look if there is ~/.Trash for your account and if
not try to make a new one like I did. Perhaps it works after a reboot -
for me it did (but the directory is still not there - as I said: weired)
