The problem is gone when I remove my old layout in the gnome keyboard control

When opening the application menu for the first time after starting the
system, icons for every entry get loaded. All entries are displayed
without icons at first, so I select a submenu which opens but shortly
after, all the icons are getting
So basically it is not really possible to use any ipod, be it touch or
classic and this bug has low importance? Great!

On trying it again, the problem seems to have changed (I normally don't
use long playlists that often in totem). It now only happens when the
list is actually not scrollable. So this might be the intended behaviour
and the original usability problem is solved.

Since there is no more a beagle package to install and beagle is not
under active development anymore, I think this bug can be marked as
invalid/closed/whatever. It might be worth trying if the same stuff
happens with tracker but thats another cup of tea I guess.

I had this exact problem too and found that it was caused by an old xorg.conf
from feisty that I copied over. The culprit was this line:
Option XKbVariant "de"
I removed it and all was fine again, so it might be because of a non-existing
variant in there for some.

Ok, it seems the bug is still there in feisty. On the image attached you see
what it looks like after hovering an icon over the sidebar.
Though this bug is not that important, i agree, i think it should be fixed for
cosmetic reasons (probably gtk bug?)
