I have the exact same issue. I am running the same version of Ubuntu
with Nvidia module. After updating an hour ago gnome-terminal's text
got extremely small and completely unreadable.

gnome-terminal fonts are fine.

I also noticed my login page does not look correct. It looks like it is
setting my monitor resolution very low because I see the normal image
but it is zoomed in. The username field is almost not visable along the
