At the moment of the screenshot there was no unread message scrolling
down the list, i checked that on porpuse. But now 10 min ago, after new
mails arrived, there was no bug... it only sometimes.. may be under high
CPU load or something...

Yes, it is reproducible. and it still happening. I have ubuntu karmic
koala 32-bit alpha 2 installed in a Compaq Presario F730 US, AMD Athlon
X2, nVidia Go6100 ...etc, compiz fusion... etc.
Steps to reproduce it.
1) Navigate in nautilus to a folder containing movies... my case 700MB AVI
movies.
at least in .avi format... i'll check that as soon as i get another
format if you keep it pressed or pressing several keys is the
same... the video starts from the beginning...

line on facebook and stuff like that, luckily the code for switchboard
was just merged, and you can get it on the next update, now you can go
to Settings>Keyboard>Shortcuts>Universal Access and change the shotcut

shows that the device fails to enumerate or something like that. The

I don't know how to reproduce this bug, it affects me quite randomly. I
would say that may be it has something to do with hibernation or
unplug/plug the laptop... i do this almost never because i use most
plugged and don't like much hibernation because that is when most bugs
appears... ;)

I have the same bug, but it only happens in bottom panels, not upper
panels. I switched the clock and calendar to the upper panel to avoid
this bug... otherwise you have to click in panel to bring it to front
and see the clock again to close the calendar.

occurs when the compositing option is enabled, there is no strange

I enabled compiz for 10 minutes and i didn't see the distortion this
time as you see in the screenshot that i uploaded, the "affected"
region of that distortion is not any region, is the region where the
mail messages are (in evolution mail client). so i think that may be is
some sort of refres
i uploaded another screenshot running metacity with the compositing
option enabled. This was catched when switching from virtual desktops...
as you can see in this screenshot, the messages list is distorted and
that distortion is contaminated with the window that was below
evolution, that is firefo
And this whole thing happens also with firefox the same way with
evolution. Not the entire window, the decoration and the menu bars look
fine, the content region is affected as well as evolution is. The
distortion looks the same, may be some issue with the nvidia restricted
driver?

i wanted to comment that Evolution shows wrong "Unread" messages in the
taskbar... it says Inbox 1 Unread message and when i go there, is no new
message... this is very elementary and should be fixed... also when
moving new messages from inbox to another folder, the bold 1 Unread

This is my experience with this bug. I noticed that pressing F5 to
refresh JPEG picture thumbnails in desktop set the mouse in holding
wheel and every element was updated (like external drives) but image

after latest updates in intrepid totem stopped working... it can't

Another comment is that this bug not only happens in Desktop JPEG
images... it happens when making some copy&paste and deletion of images
or pictures is the Pictures folder... in my case I maintain certain
order of pictures in some folders and happens when I download images
from my mobile phone...

drive. After the usb drive is ejected trash icons displays like full but

I've submitted bug #37964 which was closed as duplicate of this one.
Today I had a crash when exiting and this is the backtrace. Hope it helps. I'm
not sure if it is the same problem or not though.

I used to have this problem quite frequently but not anymore. A couple
of weeks ago I had a few crashed while shutting down but I forgot to get
the stack trace. I will do if I experience another crash

I use one folder per account where I have both sent and received emails
in order to have a full threaded conversation.
In order to get that, I specify the place where all sent emails should
go per account and also set up a filter for mail arriv
I have experencied the same problem. It looks like the composer's
contacts are cached or something and it is not updated as soon as you
add a contact. Restarting evolution usually doesn't solve the problem.
The only thing that works for sure is logging out and in again.

No, it is not the inbox folder. I have a folder called "Selenca" where I
have all my email from that account (received and sent).
I'm attaching a screeshot so you can see what i'm saying.
Let me know if this explains the problem correctly.

It works now without a problem. I don't know if there has been any dapper
update on the package this last couple of days. I'm going to try without the
debug setting to see if there is any difference, but I doubt it.
