Selecting then launching executable text files by pressing the "enter"
button on keyboard or double-clicking the file automatically displays it
when "Ask each time" is set for Executable Text Files in Files -> Edit
-> Preferences -> Behavior.

I am unfortunately unable to give an explanation as to how this could be
used by an attacker. Seeing the "vulnerable to irq-injection attacks"
message I thought it presented a security problem.

Okay.
Turns out that things are fine for the "Ask each time" option in Nautilus. Made
an executable file, launched it, was presented with the "choice" prompt ("Do
you want to run "filename.txt", or display its contents?"), so no problem, no
bug, sorry for being an ass.
The thing is, I filed tha
