I see this behaviour as well on my desktop. Ubuntu 13.10 64bit, nvidia
graphics (binary drivers).
I suspend using menu option, then resume by pressing power button. I get
a password screen, enter my password, and when it drops to the desktop,
the HUD is already open.

I have managed to somehow fix this by installing a different greeter:
`lightdm-gtk-greeter`. You get a "not so fancy" greeter (see [1]), but It gives
you the right keyboard config.
So the problem should be on the default greeter used...

two "Inbox" folders. I deleted one of them and that deleted all my mail

email and in the initial configuration steps, I was given choices on
what the client should do when I deleted a message. There was a checkbox
that said "Don't delete emails on server." I really appreciated having
that choice up
